Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Brooklyn peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Every month since my daughter was born, my husband has gone to Butterfly Bakery to buy a cupcake so we can celebrate her turning another month older. The cupcake is always so good, but the last few times he's also brought me the banana pudding and I genuinely don't know what they put in that thing because it is SO good. Now it's basically mandatory that he brings one home every time he goes. 😂 I just needed everyone to know that if you go, you HAVE to get the banana pudding!

Smores cookies is the best! Took a first bite and I had like a cheese string pull but it was the nice soft fluffy chewy marshmallow My husband had the Nutella cookie it’s a perfect amount of Nutella in my opinion Though some don’t like the salt on it But the chef in me does Best cookies ever 5-6 dollars each isn’t that bad! They have a 26 dollar box for a decent amount of cookies worth the wait worth the money worth going over there and enjoying their calm nice neighborhood also I always Pair these cookies with a cheese pizza slice from the next door!

The bakery was clean and the service was excellent. I do wish they had a wider selection of gluten-free cupcakes, so I chose the dulce flavor. It didn’t taste underbaked, but the color seemed slightly off to me.

I ordered the “vintage cake” as a surprise for a friend’s birthday. She said it was delicious, but that it looked like the courier dropped it or it got squished on the way to her, so it showed up with the icing damaged. Overall a cute cake, but I wish the website is more clear about what you are getting when you order a “vintage cake”. The pictures shown for this item are much more intricate than what showed up. If I have the lowest tier and those were higher tier cakes, that’s fine, but I think there should be a photo of the “basic tier” cake to manage expectations (it was still a $100 cake… so not exactly cheap). Also was not expecting only 4 glitter cherries, as every photo I saw with cherries had more.

I ordered through Grubhub. Someone look at the practical cake box they sent! That alone made me excited to try the Lemon blueberry cake slice; which tasted like a blueberry muffin. So soft and fresh. The lemon buttercream icing was pleasant. Not overly sweet. Presentation 10/10. Flavor 10/10. Butterly good.
